Towel rack

This is one of my favorite projects - a towel rack for the kid's bathroom - I love how colorful this is with the shower curtain and towels!

Routine

My kids thrive on routine - if they don't know what's coming next, they tend to get very disruptive and more disobedient.  Also they are getting old enough to be given some responsibility - enter the routine and chore charts!

The charts are kept on the refrigerator at kid height.

So far it's working pretty well and the 3 year old especially likes to see what's coming next in our day.  

Oatmeal Recipe Review

My oldest got a cookbook for Christmas and she wanted to try the oatmeal recipes.  They were cooked on the stove to be reheated the next day for breakfast.  We made the banana nut oatmeal and the apple cinnamon oatmeal.  

This morning, we ate the banana nut oatmeal.  This reheats surprisingly well and tastes pretty good too.  My oldest ate pretty well considering she wasn't feeling good but she said she liked it.  My 3 year old wouldn't even touch it but that's life with a 3 year old!  Tomorrow we'll try the apple cinnamon.
